Can we send you a care package?

Generally, no. Customs regulations prohibit certain things from being mailed between different countries. Import fees on some items can make it very expensive to receive packages, and many items are now available worldwide.

However, there may be times when receiving a package is possible. Before you decide to send a package, please contact us so that we can let you know if it will be advisable and provide you with mailing instructions. It is important that you receive and follow these instructions before mailing a package. We will also send you a list of items for a care package that we like that are not available where we are living, adhere to customs regulations and do not have expensive import fees. You can find our current mailing address in on our most current newsletter under contact us.

Can we contribute to your ministry through a non-cash gift?

Yes! There are  lots of other creative ways that people have given in addition to financial contributions. Some have blessed us with houses to stay in, cars to drive, equipment, meals, care packages, and more.  We greatly appreciate the ways that God has provided for us through the resources others have shared with us.

In the USA you can participate in the Wycliffe USA Gift in Kind program to turn the value of items like used cell phones, jewelry, cars, boats and more into cash gifts to our Wycliffe ministry.   Some non-cash gifts may be receipted and eligible for a US tax deduction.

In the USA you can also give assets including stocks, bonds, real estate, retirement savings, and life insurance. Gifts of this kind are processed by the Wycliffe Foundation. Click here to learn more. Please be sure to let the Wycliffe Foundation staff know that you desire to give your gift to our Wycliffe ministry.

How is the money I donate used?

Of the money sent to Wycliffe given to the preference of our Wycliffe ministry, 90 percent goes to our Wycliffe ministry account to cover our salaries, taxes, ministry expenses, insurance and retirement. Ten percent is directed to Wycliffe’s general fund in order to cover valuable administrative services that benefit us including computer support, financial services, and facilities maintenance. Learn more about giving to our ministry.

* For gifts given outside of the USA, an additional 5% is sometimes taken by the organization receiving the gift to cover processing and funds transfer expenses.
