Africa Communications Forum
This last week I was a trainer at the first Wycliffe Africa Communications Forum ever put together. People from 8 different African countries were present. Each works for an organization that is affiliated with the Wycliffe Global Alliance, and they are all in some way working in external relations. Having a meeting like this is something I’ve been dreaming would happen for a long time. While we worked together on some of the planning, it is my colleague, Florence, that made it happen.
It was so exciting to hear everyone sharing together about what they have been doing to share about missions and Bible translation in their countries. It was great to hear about how the African church is engaging in missions, and it was fun to discuss together ideas for how communicators can help to see that involvement increase. Great stuff!
