Heading back to Nairobi

After three weeks in Tanzania, it was time to head home to Kenya. We flew over Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, during our descent into Nairobi. It was an awesome site. There was even a little snow on top.

We settled into our temporary residence. We’re apartment-sitting for a couple that is in the US for a few months. Hopefully, during our time here we’ll find our permanent place to live, things to put into our home, and a vehicle.

It’s hard to believe you are really there in Africa. I am praying for you. Even though I am sure it is overwhelming at times, it also must be so fascinating to be living in a different culture and place. I hope you fall in love with the people there.

By the way, “Travis” is actually “Bonnie,” but I am assuming you know that already. :)
