Packing up
Only a little more than a week until we leave. We’re packing our bags for Kenya! Since we won’t be shipping anything, everything we want to bring to Kenya will be coming on the plane with us. Each of our tickets comes with an allowance for three checked bags and two carry-ons.
Two years in Kenya…what are some of things we are bringing?
- Non-stick frying pan
- Clothes
- American measuring cups and spoons
- Books: Experiencing God, Chronicles of Narnia, the Lord of the Rings, and more
- Games: Yatzee, Rook, Taboo, Mexican Train
- Dual voltage hair dryer
- Taco seasoning
- Our pictures, music, recipes and videos are all coming electronically.
Four of our checked bags are actually boxes with special box covers. Aileen suggested the box covers. They are great, and will make moving those boxes so much easier.
