Three Banquets Left
Fog along the whole east coast delayed our flight from California more than three hours, but we finally made it back. We’ve had just enough time to unpack, do laundry, and repack for another trip. That’s right, we leave tomorrow. We have three banquets left–one in New Jersey and two in New York. We’re staying with Aileen’s (former co-worker from Orlando) family in Pennsylvania for a couple of nights. It’s close to our NJ banquet site. Then we’ll head out to Long Island for a few days.
Our experience traveling through the New York and Philadelphia area has taught us that Sundays and late, late at night are the only times you can drive through that area without loosing your mind. The traffic is so heavy!! We’ll be leaving tomorrow. It should be fun. We’ll have a little time to visit with Aileen while we’re staying with her, and we have one day off in between banquets in Long Island that we’re hoping to spend in New York City. Jeff hasn’t been there yet.
